Running With The Bulls 2014

Foothills Food Bank & Resource Center to benefit from sixth annual Running of the Bulls USA.  Running With the Bulls has just chosen Operation Hawkeye to be its national charity.   It's an organization that honors fallen soldiers, war vets and military foundations.

2014, Cave Creek, Arizona – The Foothills Food Bank & Resource Center will benefit from the sixth annual Running with the Bulls USA. The event will be held February 7-9, 2014 at the Hogs and Horses arena in Cave Creek, Ariz.

According to the food bank’s executive director, Pam DiPietro, Running with the Bulls USA has partnered with Foothills Food Bank & Resource Center to collect canned food during the festival. In addition to helping the extremely busy food bank, anyone who brings 25 cans or more will receive free spectator admission to the event.

Running with the Bulls USA offers 12 runs, family-friendly entertainment, a Battle of the Bands, festival exhibitors and cash prizes. In addition, a charity run will be held on February 7. Please read more for details...

Running With the Bulls USA, who held their first Running With the Bulls Festival in Mesquite twelve years ago
Running With the Bulls USA said that all of the event highlights remain the same including the $10,000 cash prizes for runners and the Big Bull Battle of the Bands. The event will be held as previously scheduled in downtown Cave Creek.

Cave Creek's Hogs and Horses, will bring a new audience-friendly element to the event with its restaurant and bar for spectators.  Its upstairs patio will be set aside for a VIP section.

  A  crowd of 10,000 people is expected to attend.   They are using the same safety precautions as in previous years.  Participants in the bull run must be 18 yrs old or older and  are required to sign wavers certifying their sobriety.  In the last run a couple of people were sent to the hospital and there were at least 6 minor injuries, so a dangerous game. Good luck, runners!!!!

We are having a charity run Feb 7 at 5pm for Operation Hawkeye
Saturday there are 6 runs with entertainment in between. 
Sunday there are 6 more runs with all day entertainment.
Battle of the bands on Feb 8 with some local bands. Here is a lineup of the bands performing for prize money:
